Grand Slam is a 1988 Transformers G1 Mini-Cassette released as part of the final assortment of the original cassette figures. He transforms from a Cybertronian tank into a microcassette that fits inside the chest compartments of G1 Soundwave and Blaster. His tank mode features a large cannon assembled from his dual repulsors and smoke discharger, plus smaller built-in cannons as backup weapons.

Grand Slam was sold exclusively in a two-pack with Raindance, another 1988 G1 cassette. The two figures combine to form Slamdance, with Grand Slam forming the upper body and Raindance forming the lower body. This combination feature, along with his tank-to-cassette transformation, makes Grand Slam a notable collectible from the late G1 Mini-Cassette lineup.
