The Black Hole Harry Booth (1979)

The 1979 Mego The Black Hole Harry Booth 12.5-inch figure transformed the character into a premium 1:6-scale, cloth-costumed figure. Its standout feature is the highly regarded Harry Booth head sculpt by Mego artist Ron Shruby, known for creating strong celebrity likenesses and considered one of the better portraits in the large-scale Black Hole lineup.

The figure features a detailed fabric space uniform with a jacket, shirt, pants, boots, and Booth’s signature removable hat. Collectors should pay particular attention to the head condition, as the soft vinyl used by Mego is susceptible to severe “grey face” deterioration, causing the original flesh tone to fade into an ash-gray or zombie-like appearance. Examples retaining their original skin tone are especially desirable.
