The Black Hole Dr. Kate McRae (1979)

The 1979 Mego The Black Hole Dr. Kate McCrae 3.75-inch action figure was released in Wave 1 and represents the film’s primary female protagonist. Widely distributed in North America and international markets, the figure features McCrae’s movie-accurate beige and light-gray space crew uniform with dark boots.

Like other Mego The Black Hole figures, Dr. McCrae uses the company’s advanced rubber-band and O-ring construction, giving her greater articulation and posing ability than many competing 3.75-inch figures of the era. The figure’s molded costume and compact scale make it an essential piece for collectors completing the original Mego The Black Hole lineup.
