The 1997 Stretch Shredder is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Stretch Turtles subline. Known as “The Mutant Malleable Madman!”, Shredder features a flexible rubberized body that can be stretched, twisted, and pulled before returning to its original shape. His packaging gives him a +16.6 rubber factor and describes his stretch consistency as “Super Sinister Snot!”

The Stretch Shredder includes his signature Shell Smashers weapon and uses the same elastic construction found throughout the Stretch Turtles line. The toy’s unusual flexible design and humorous packaging lore portray Shredder as a rubber-bodied villain capable of extending his reach to surprise the Turtles, making this 1997 Playmates TMNT figure a distinctive vintage collectible.
