Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ankyl Leo (1997)

Ankyl Leo is a 1997 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Dino Turtles action figure released by Playmates. The Ankyl Leo toy features Leonardo transformed with ankylosaurus-inspired prehistoric armor and a back-mounted button that activates his “Carnivorous Claw Choppin’ Action.” His accessories include an Ankyl Club, Flatbone Katana, and Overhead Obsidian-Tipped Spear.

The Playmates Ankyl Leo was part of the Dino Turtles assortment alongside other prehistoric versions of the TMNT characters. Designed for a dinosaur-themed battle against Tyranno Shredder, this vintage 1997 TMNT Leonardo figure combines Leonardo's classic ninja identity with ankylosaurus-inspired features, making it a distinctive collectible from the later original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toyline.
