The 1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutatin' Raphael action figure was released by Playmates Toys as part of the original Mutations subline. This vintage TMNT transforming action figure allows Raphael to change from an ordinary pet turtle into the muscular, red-masked Ninja Turtle Raphael, using a series of manual twists, flips, and hidden body parts. This figure is identical to its 1992 release
The Mutatin' Raphael transformation involves opening the shell cavity, extending the ninja limbs, and rotating the heads to reveal his fully equipped mutant form. Accessories include 2 Shape-Changin' Sai, a Pet Turtle Food Can, Retromutagen Ooze Canister, and Pizza Tossin' Ninja Star, making this 1996 vintage TMNT collectible a distinctive Playmates Toys Mutations release.
