The 1996 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutatin' Donatello action figure was released by Playmates Toys as part of the popular Mutations subline. This vintage TMNT action figure features a unique transformation that allows Donatello to switch between Pet Turtle Mode, a four-legged domestic turtle, and Ninja Turtle Mode, a fully articulated mutant hero. This figure is identical to the earlier 1992 release.
The Mutatin' Donatello transforms through a series of manual twists, hinges, and folding body parts that hide or reveal his mutant features. Accessories include Pogo Bo Staffs, a Pet Turtle Food Can, Retromutagen Ooze Canister, and Pizza Tossin' Ninja Star, making this 1996 vintage TMNT collectible a distinctive Playmates Toys figure inspired by the Turtles' classic origin story.
