The 1996 Kung Fu Rocksteady is a 6-inch vintage Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figure released by Playmates Toys as part of the Tournament Fighters tie-in series. Rocksteady is redesigned as a brutal street fighter, featuring green and gray armor and a Fierce Foot Punchin' mechanical action feature inspired by the fighting-game theme. This figure remains unchanged from the original 1994 release, though the packaging changed to reflect the Ninja Power branding as opposed to the Tournament Fighters video game.
The figure includes a skull-cracking crowbar and street sword, giving this version of Rocksteady an aggressive street-fighting style. Packaged on a colorful red and purple blister card with a humorous character biography, Kung Fu Rocksteady is a distinctive 1996 TMNT collectible from Playmates Toys' Tournament Fighters lineup.
