Frenzy is a 1984–1985 Transformers G1 Mini-Cassette released in a two-pack with Laserbeak. Originally based on Takara’s Micro Change “Micro Cassette Robo Micross,” Frenzy transforms from robot to a blue microcassette that fits inside the cassette compartments of Soundwave and Blaster. He comes with two chrome-plated Thruster Guns that can attach to his back or arms, while early releases featured a Decepticon sticker that was later replaced by a heat-sensitive rubsign.
The Frenzy G1 toy uses the same mold as Rumble, making it a notable vintage Transformers cassette variant. Because of its compact size, recognizable cassette mode, chrome weapons, and connection to Soundwave and Blaster, Frenzy remains a popular piece among Transformers G1 collectors and vintage toy enthusiasts.
