Bandai released the Godaikin action figure line in 1982. Previously, Mattel attempted to release Popy figures as Shogun Warriors in the late 1970s. Popy selected some of their most popular Chogkin figures for release in 1982. Some of the most popular figures include Combattra, Deltanius, Gardian, and God Marz.
