Box Condition: Box has light wear. The pictures will show the box’s condition.
Condition: Item is mint in factory packaging. Now to address this directly. The two tapes do not match, at least in present-day color. I’m not clear what sort of environmental conditions would lead to this, but it was part of a massive haul of original owner-purchased toys in the 1970s and 1980s. It along with 1,000+ other sealed/new items were all purchased by me. None tampered with (plenty missing tape or tape dried out), this would be the only one tampered with it if is…why not fix all the others up to???? All I can do is take pictures and let you decide, but there is no color break on the flap crease. There is nothing to indicate it was opened on that side. Nor is there any hint suggesting an old piece of tape was there or was cut. The contents are solid and not shifting or rattling. Additionally, while it may not be obvious the tape on one end is starting to yellow. Regardless of whether you think sealed, or opened with a new piece of tape. It is coming as it is shown.
