As Harmony Gold USA converted three anime series, including Super Dimension Fortress Macross, into Robotech, Matchbox released the first line of toys in 1985. These toys included both 6” and 12” scale action figures of key characters like Dana Sterling. Meanwhile, there were also several of the vehicles from the cartoon, such as the SDF-1Playset.
