Crash Dummies

As states pushed to legalize seat belt laws, Tyco teamed up with the National Highway Traffic Administration to present the Incredible Crash Dummies toys in 1991. They designed each of these toys to perform spectacularly in stunt crashes, crunching and springing apart. However, controversy over the glorification of crashes cut the line short.

Later, in 2004, Mattel returned the brand to store shelves under their Hot Wheel’s branding. Thus, a new wave of dummies and vehicles became available to collectors.
