Defenders of the Earth was a TV series that was originally released in 1985. To accompany the television show, Galoob released the toy line in 1985. This collection had six different action figures: Flash Gordon, Mandrake, Lothar, the Phantom, Ming, and Garax. Beyond the character figures, the line also featured six vehicles.
