1994 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog – Page 10 – Batman

Join us on a journey through the 1994 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog, which offered a first look at Kenner’s latest toys. For instance, readers had the chance to view their latest Batman, ALIENS, Predator, and Jurassic Park toys.

The 1994 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog advertised various Batman action figure lines, including Batman the Animated Series. Aside from their Legends of Batman toy line, Kenner also created several toys based on the animated series. Since this series was extremely popular back then, as it was then, they dedicated pages to these toys. To many fans, this series provided the definitive Batman and Joker. Thus, these figures were highly desirable.

Here, Kenner presented No. 64023, Animation Crime Stalker Vehicle. BATMAN kept the streets of Gotham City safe with the CRIME STALKER vehicle. This sleek new electronic vehicle allowed BATMAN to jet through GOTHAM CITY with blasts of laser firepower.

Next, they provided information on No. 63981, Animation Batcycle Vehicle. The BATCYCLE had motorized turbo power, so players could rev it up and let loose. It even did wheelies. Moreover, this vehicle came with a Batman figure.

Finally, they advertised No. 64661, Animation Batman Mini Vehicle Assortment. This assortment featured five mini-vehicles:

First was the AERO-BAT VEHICLE. When the action got hot, BATMAN ejected with quick-escape action and attacked his enemy in the AERO BAT.

Then, there was the HYDRO-BAT-VEHICLE. BATMAN was ready to make waves when the HYDRO BAT blasted off over land or water in a drenching surge of water power.

Next was the B.A.T.V. VEHICLE. The BATMAN ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE instantly converted from a high-speed land/snow racer to an upright armored cruiser. Moreover, it fired a ground-level missile for low-flying trouble.

There was also the HOVERBAT VEHICLE. The HOVERBAT was loaded with crimefighting equipment, like a giant villain-capturing claw. It also had a powerful missie buncher and a rear loading dock to haul villains away.

Finally, they featured the BAT-SIGNAL JET VEHICLE. After launching a stealth missile to neutralize the most menacing villains, the BAT-SIGNAL JET projected a real electronic “bat symbol light” across the sky to signal that all is safe again in Gotham City.

About Our Kenner Toy Fair Catalog Scans

Kenner handed out catalogs to attendees of toy fairs and other events to promote their upcoming slate of products. Each catalog was filled with information about their newest toys, even ones still in development. Thus, they often provided the first looks at action figures, playsets, vehicles, and more from their lines. Therefore, they have become valuable and rare collector’s items.

These Kenner Toy Fair Catalogs featured toys from their beloved lines. For instance, their ground-breaking Star Wars toy line often appeared in these catalogs. Kenner also gave players the chance to live out superhero fantasies with the Super Powers action figures. Another of their beloved lines, M.A.S.K., also were featured in multiple catalogs. There were also other action figure lines like Centurions.

Kenner used in-production prototypes in their images, as these catalogs were prepared before the lines were released. This meant that the featured toys often differed from the retail releases. Moreover, toys sometimes appeared only on these catalog pages, as they were canceled or never hit retail store shelves.

While Kenner only handed these booklets out to trade professionals, we have now made them available to all. You can explore the toys featured in these catalogs with our Kenner Toy Fair Catalog Scans. This is a rare treat since catalogs like these have become increasingly difficult to locate with each passing year.
