Hasbro introduced a new team to the G.I. Joe franchise, the Tiger Force, on page 99 of the 1989 Toy Fair Catalog. The most defining trait of this sub-group was the yellow and green tiger-striped theme of their vehicles and uniforms. Notably, the Tiger Force utilized captured Cobra vehicles, which they re-outfitted with G.I. Joe weapons.
