Join us on a journey through the 1986 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog, which offered a first look at Kenner’s latest toys. For instance, readers had the chance to view the Star Wars Droids and M.A.S.K. toys.
Even though the Star Wars trilogy ended with the Return of the Jedi, Kenner continued to make toys as seen in the 1986 Toy Fair Catalog. For instance, they presented the Star Wars Ewoks, which featured the fluffy inhabitants of Endor that helped out Luke, Leia, and the rest of the resistance.
From the enchanted forest of ENDOR came those fabulous furry creatures, the EWOKS. Successfully returning to Saturday morning television, this LUCASFILM cartoon launched these lovable characters into the hearts of millions of young children all over the country.
So, based on this great animated series, KENNER added even more colorful, exciting and popular figures to the EWOKS collection.
Joining the adventuresome Ewoks Wicket and Logray were Chief Chirpa, Weechee, and Paploo. Then, there were the entertaining and faithful gypsies, Bondo and Chituhr. Together, they battled against the dastardly Duloks, featuring King Gorneesh, his girlfriend Urgah Lady Gorneesh, Dulock Shaman the “Medicine Man”, and the Dulock Scout. They bedeviled the friendly Ewoks with the help of Morag, the evil witch.
Each action figure came with its own Collector Coin, specially designed and imprinted with fans’ favorite Ewok.
