Even though the Star Wars trilogy ended with the Return of the Jedi, Kenner continued to make toys as seen in the 1986 Toy Fair Catalog. For instance, they presented the Star Wars Ewoks, which featured the fluffy inhabitants of Endor that helped out Luke, Leia, and the rest of the resistance. Kenner decided to make this toy line in part because the Ewoks were scheduled to appear on television that year.

On this page, Kenner promoted No. 93690, Star Wars Collection Ewok Battle Wagon Vehicle. This exciting new ENDOR vehicle allowed fans to re-enact even more battle scenes featuring their favorite Ewoks from RETURN OF THE JEDI and EWOK Saturday morning TV series. Moreover, the EWOK BATTLE WAGON had two levels to hold a whole band of EWOK warriors. Once aboard, the action began.
This vehicle/playset featured a manually-operated battering ram to crush unsuspecting intruders. So, any captured IMPERIAL STORMTROOPERS or evil DULOKS could be held prisoner inside the EWOK BATTLE WAGON Prisoner Cage in the back. The vehicle sides were also removable so that an EWOK fort could be built separately. Then up top, there was a ceremonial skull that served as a lookout for the EWOKS. Adding to this vehicle’s versatility were a ceremonial drum and lever which allows the EWOK BATTLE WAGON front to recline while the EWOKS take the enemy by storm. Moreover, free-rolling wheels kept the action going, at least until the EWOKS won another forest victory.
