Join us on a journey through the 1986 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog, which offered a first look at Kenner’s latest toys. For instance, readers had the chance to view the Star Wars Droids and M.A.S.K. toys.
In the 1986 Toy Fair Catalog, Kenner highlighted the various products within their original toy line, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand). While Kenner put their names on the map with licensed toys like Star Wars, M.A.S.K. allowed them to create a unique product. This line featured human drivers that came with their associated transforming vehicles. Meanwhile, the members of M.A.S.K. fought against the evil forces of V.E.N.O.M. (Vicious Evil Network of Mayhem).

Here, Kenner promoted No. 37330, Jackhammer Vehicle, a tough 4×4 that became an armored assault vehicle. The VENOM JACKHAMMER 4×4 had some ominous surprises to look out for. For instance, the armored hood shield slid back to reveal dual reciprocating cannons behind the drop-down front grill. For protection from the air, the back cap popped up to become an anti-aircraft turret that rotated 360°. Furthermore, VENOM even had a separately mounted weapon to repel attackers.
JACKHAMMER also came with an articulated CLIFF DAGGER figure, the feared demolitions expert of the VENOM team. His removable TORCH mask was always ready for pretending to fire its flame thrower at MASK agents.
