The 1986 Kenner Toy Fair Catalog advertised a wide range of Centurions: Power Xtreme action figures and vehicles. In the 21st Century on planet Earth, a top military program was stolen from the world’s master computer. This program held the secret to the successful fusing together man and machine.

On this page, Kenner promoted three assortments: No. 17060, No. 17130, and No. 17180, Wild Weasel, Hornet, and Detonator Assault Weapon Systems. Fans could join JAKE ROCKWELL with these three systems when he employed his specialized advanced weapon systems to battle the evil DR. TERROR. Artificially intelligent battle gear honed in on and connected to JAKE ROCKWELLs EXO-FRAME.

First, the WILD WEASEL artillery was designed for missions in heavy forests, rugged rock terrains, or remote outposts where protective armor is needed. Next, the HORNET was for missions requiring silent rigging, versatility of movement, and infrared scanners for night assignments. Finally, the DETONATOR had heavy artillery for maximum firepower.

The Wild Weasel had many battle modes, including “Tracking,” “Anti-aircraft,” “High-Speed Travel,” and “Land Attack.” Furthermore, it was equipped with Foot Pads, two Land Lasers, a Protective Head Shield, and a Front Assault Pak Module for loading accessories. It also had a Modular Wheel Base Assembly, a Target Locater to guide Jake Rockwell to his target, and a Protective Back Shell to enable the Wild Weasel to crash through pretend rocks and barriers.

About Our Kenner Toy Fair Catalog Scans

Kenner handed out catalogs to attendees of toy fairs and other events to promote their upcoming slate of products. Each catalog was filled with information about their newest toys, even ones still in development. Thus, they often provided the first looks at action figures, playsets, vehicles, and more from their lines. Therefore, they have become valuable and rare collector’s items.

These Kenner Toy Fair Catalogs featured toys from their beloved lines. For instance, their ground-breaking Star Wars toy line often appeared in these catalogs. Kenner also gave players the chance to live out superhero fantasies with the Super Powers action figures. Another of their beloved lines, M.A.S.K., also were featured in multiple catalogs. There were also other action figure lines like Centurions.

Kenner used in-production prototypes in their images, as these catalogs were prepared before the lines were released. This meant that the featured toys often differed from the retail releases. Moreover, toys sometimes appeared only on these catalog pages, as they were canceled or never hit retail store shelves.

While Kenner only handed these booklets out to trade professionals, we have now made them available to all. You can explore the toys featured in these catalogs with our Kenner Toy Fair Catalog Scans. This is a rare treat since catalogs like these have become increasingly difficult to locate with each passing year.
