1986 Coleco Toy Fair Catalog – Page 5 – Furskins

Explore the pages of the rare 1986 Coleco Toy Fair Catalog with our high-definition scans. While this catalog featured the cultural phenomenon, Cabbage Patch Kids, Coleco also featured many more toys. For instance, this catalog featured both the Sectaurs and Rambo action figures. There were also plenty of licensed products.

Coleco continued to promote the next line of plush companions, the Furskins, in the 1986 Toy Fair Catalog. Instead of coming from the Cabbage Patch, these cuddly stuffed bears originated from the Moody Hollow. These big-bellied bee chasers were Coleco’s scaled-down vision of Xavier Roberts’ spectacular entry into the bear trade. So, every wide-eyed Goldilocks and Dan’l Boon from Bar Harbor to the Baja was hot on the unmistakable tracks of their woodsy Furskin boots.

Page 5 featured 4704, Junkie Mae from the Furskins toy line, who was just bustin’ with get-up-and-go. She loved to square dance and floored ‘em with her do-si-do. Junie Mae came in a multi-ruffled dress and a matching, ribbon-tie hat.
