LJN concluded the presentation of their new Voltron toy line on page 27 of the  1985 Toy Fair Catalog. While Matchbox held the license in 1984, LJN gained the chance to create a unique take on the cartoon in 1985. Unlike Matchbox’s offerings, they aimed to create fun toys with quality electronic components. So, their line featured multiple takes on the lions and the combined robot, Voltron.

On this page, they promoted #7620, the Voltron 16” Pedal Ride-On tricycle. This vehicle featured the black lion’s head with moveable ears on the handlebars. The lion’s lower jaw could also open up to reveal the face of Voltron. The handlebars featured molded safety grips. Meanwhile, the sturdy adjustable seat placed the rider in control of the Lion Force. The large 16” drive wheel allowed for easy steering and quick braking.
