LJN continued to share the excitement of their new toy line that brought WWF action home, the Wrestling Superstars, on page 51 of the 1985 Toy Fair Catalog. After Richard Derwald of Buffalo, NY came up with the idea, he sold LJN on the concept of wrestling toys. Along with the action figures, LJN also produced bendies and thumb wrestling. This line went strong until LJN closed its toy division in 1989.

Beyond the prior workouts, LJN also presented #5437, the Hulkamania Dumbbell Set, which featured two pre-weighted three-pound dumbells. This set also included a “Hulkster” headband, an exercise chart, and Hulk’s instructions on an audio cassette.
Then, there was #5438, the Jumprope and Hand Grip Assortment. This set featured a deluxe swivel handle jump rope that was perfect for warming up. Meanwhile, the set also had a pair of hand grip squeezers that helped improve grip.
Finally, they promoted #5439, the Hulkamania Physical Fitness Gift Set. This set included a thirty-minute exercise program on cassette tape. Beyond the tape, the set included a step-by-step book featuring a full assortment of daily exercises. Finally, the gift sets came with a “Hulkster” headband and two wrist bands.
