Page 86 of the 1985 Hasbro Toy Fair Catalog continued featuring the G.I. Joe A Real American Hero action figures, accessories, and vehicles. Even though Hasbro first introduced G.I. Joe in the 1960s, the toy line had disappeared by the end of the 1970s. Thanks to Bob Prupic’s persistence, his “Operation: Blast Off” led to the revitalization of the line.

Hasbro introduced readers to assortment #6125: the Battle Station Assortment. Throughout the night, G.I. Joe AIR DEFENSE studied radar signals for surprise COBRA air attacks. Elsewhere, the CHECK POINT tower monitored COBRA ground forces. Back at the COBRA BUNKER, the enemy prepared a sneak attack.
The Air Defense included a radar dish, base, stand, support arm, and missiles. Then, the Check Point came with the Tower, clipboard, gate, road bump, ladder, spotlight, gun, camera, and antenna. The Cobra Bunker contained the Bunker, tripod base, stand, rocket, and guns. Meanwhile, the Watch Tower included the watchtower, ladder, gun, spotlight, sandbags, and flagpole. The Mountain Howitzer had a gun barrel, shield, ammo, ammo box, binoculars, and a tripod. Finally, the Bivouac came with a tent, coat, gun rack, axe, canteen, shovel, machete, radio, antenna, rocket, rocket tube, and rocket tripod.
Each assortment included 6 each of the Air Defense, Check Point, and COBRA Bunker. Then, there were 2 each of the continuing stations. So, each assortment came with a total of 24 pieces.
