Hasbro began the coverage of their newest brand in boys’ toys, The Transformers, on page 64 of the 1984 Toy Fair Catalog. Thus, they presented the signature battle between the Autobots and the Decepticons with David Schleinkofer’s artwork. This mural also prominently appeared on the back of the packaging for the Generation 1 toys.

As the Mural spanned both pages, only the Autobot forces appeared on page 64. In the foreground, Optimus Prime stood ready to combat the Decepticon forces. Behind him, Sunstreaker, Prowl, Bumblebee, and other Autobots flew into the fray. Some of the Autobots even appeared in their vehicle form to help illustrate the transforming nature of these toys.
