The STOMPER combined Coleco POWER CYCLE performance and speed with distinctive 4×4 styling. The big 13” wheel under the hood featured a POWER CYCLE’s direct drive pedal action to allow faster, easier pedaling and smooth handling. Independent suspension front wheels went up and down to give STOMPER drivers that realistic off-road sensation. The wide track wheelbase was designed for comfort and stability while a rear-mounted roll bar adds authenticity. The 3-position adjustable seat back also allowed custom-fit comfort for early drivers.

To promote their upcoming slate of products, Coleco handed out catalogs to toy fair and other event attendees like dealers and retailers. Each catalog was filled with information about their newest toys, even ones still in development. Thus, they were often provided the first looks at action figures, playsets, vehicles, and more from their lines. Thus, they have become valuable and rare collector’s items.
