About Tonka GoBots Action Figure Toys
GoBots are transforming robot action figure toys. They were manufactured by Tonka from 1983 to 1987. The GoBot toy line was based on toys licensed principally from Popy’s (owned by Bandai) Machine Robo line but did include other sublines. Tonka also made some of their own designs including Zod. The GoBots line included 4 primary series “regular”, super, gestalt, and playsets. The Guardians, led by Leader-1 and the Renegades, led by Cy-Kill. Do I have the elusive Gobotron Fortress? Sadly no.
