The Top 10 Jurassic Park Toys of All Time

Jurassic Park is a Sci-Fi action movie released on the 9th of June 1993 by Universe Pictures. Gerald R. Molen and Kathleen Kennedy produced the movie; meanwhile, the renowned Steven Spielberg directed it. Jurassic Park is based heavily on a 1990 novel of the same title, written by Michael Crichton.

The movie was set on an island named Isla Nublar, where billionaire John Hammond and his team of intelligent genetic scientists have created a park that houses extinct dinosaurs. The park was supposed to be a recreation center that will attract tourists from all over the world, but when the park was due to open, tragedy struck. A disgruntled employee sabotaged the park. Then, several dangerous dinosaurs went on the rampage.

Jurassic Park was the first movie of what would later become a media franchise.

In creating toy replicas of the characters depicted in Jurassic Park, more than six toy producing companies have a toy line produced after the characters of the Jurassic Park movie. Kenner, however, is the first company with the right to produce Jurassic Park character replicas and Kenner’s products consist of a lot of original products. Kenner’s product set incredibly lofty expectations for other toy companies to achieve.
